Hung Truong m.sc., m.b.a. | Advisory Member
Hung presently leads the world-wide R&D organization for the Information Security Business Unit within Utimaco.
He has over 15 years of experience in leading global software engineering teams, serving among the world’s most prominent Telecom carriers and multi-national enterprises. Prior to joining the Utimaco family in November 2018, Hung was the VP of Engineering for the ArcSight business – the largest business in the Enterprise Security Products division at Hewlett Packard (HP). Prior to joining HP in June 2010, he was Senior Director of Product Development at Amdocs and was instrumental in helping double the revenue of the Customer Management business unit, securing its industry leadership position in CRM. As Director of Software Engineering at Lucent’s Network Operations Software Division, Hung led the global product development teams of the company’s award-winning Vital™ product line. Prior to working at Lucent Technologies, he spent a significant portion of his career at Nortel Networks in a variety of R&D and Product Management roles. In 2002, the Aberdeen Group recognized an initiative Hung had spearheaded as one of its 15 Top Offshore Software Outsourcing Best Practices.
Hung is a holder of a patent on Remote Wireless Network Management. He received his B.S., M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Waterloo and his M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, in Canada. Hung’s current office location is Campbell, California.
Tam Nguyen, Ph.D. | Advisory Member
Tâm Nguyen is the Director of Software Test Automation & Tools at Arlo Technologies. He is a software architect and engineering leader, specializing in software development and test automation. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and holds patents in video delivery and web development. He has also been teaching computer programming to middle school kids, helping to develop their interest in technology, in particular, and their love of learning, in general. He is a strong advocate of blended and online learning as a mean of delivering low cost and high quality education.
trinh Do, M.s., M.b.a. | Advisory Member
Trinh is currently the Director of Data Management Operations at iTradeNetwork, a Supply Chain software company in Dublin, CA. He has over 25 years of experience in Consumer Product Marketing and Software development. Trinh received his B.S., M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Irvine and his M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Trinh is a member of the IT Team and currently leads the efforts to migrate and adapt Salesforce as ICAN’s donor management system. He has also taught the very first session of the Strategies for Success Series, providing incoming freshmen with tips and insights on how to prepare to succeed in college.
Quan t. Pham, M.H.S.A.| Advisory member
Born in Xuan Loc, Vietnam and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Quan has always appreciated diversity of place and perspective. At the age of 24, he dedicated four months to traveling internationally, seeking encounters with new cultures and experiences that would put him outside his comfort zone. Grateful for his own opportunities, he is in constant search of how he can create opportunities for others, with a focus on access to high-quality healthcare. His current imperatives include empowering employees to fulfill their potential and find joy in their work, as well as engendering the mindset of continuous improvement. Quan is excited to join ICAN and reconnect with his cultural roots. He received his Master in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and a Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Middlebury College in Vermont.
