WHAT IS A TECH HUB?
ICAN and San José are addressing the digital divide through the Digital Inclusion Partnership.
Tech Hubs are welcoming spaces offering FREE services such as:
• Computer labs
• Digital skills training
• Internet access
Tech Hubs powered by SJ Access are made possible by the City of San Jose Digital Inclusion Fund Grant.
WHO WE SERVE
This program services hundreds of clients in San José currently. In addition to providing these services, it also aims to help them understand it well enough to improve their quality of life.
WHY IT MATTERS
This program helps bridge the digital divide and soothe socioeconomic disparities between generations. By providing digital literacy training to underserved populations, this initiative empowers individuals to leverage technology to improve their lives, leading to greater equality and social inclusion.
WHAT WE DO
The Tech Hub enhances digital skills and aids residents in enhanced communication, better access to health care services, and access to more jobs.
