Prepping for Success in College

Strategies for Success in College Workshop

Beginning college can be tough for every incoming freshman, especially being a first generation college student. Here at ICAN, we want to make the transition easier for students and parents. Our Strategies for Success in College workshop involves a presentation and panel of current college students that offer their two cents on attending a 4-year public or private university, as well as guidance on the community college route. This session includes real stories and raw advice on studying, saving money, social life, mental and physical health, etc. that will help you get the best out of your educational experience. The workshop concludes with a Q&A session where the audience is allowed to ask any questions relating to college.

Stay updated for the next workshop on our website and other social medias!
